Biography

Born in Northern Ireland, Michael has dedicated the last twelve winter seasons to living and working in ski resorts as a ski instructor. For the last two seasons he has worked with the Ecole de Ski Français in Méribel and before that taught in ski schools in St. Anton, Austria and Courmayeur, Italy.

Over the years Michael has distilled his experience of various national teaching styles to develop the teaching philosophy that makes eliteski unique.

Away from the slopes Michael is active in the field of education. He has applied the eliteski philosophy at workshops he has conducted on skill development and mental techniques at universities and colleges in the U.K., U.S.A. and Australia.

During the summer months Michael is a professional classical musician.
